Priority listing in our directory above the regular listings is available on a "per clickthrough" basis (minimum purchase 1,000 credits costing 10 US dollars).

A site's "weighting" may be changed by the site owner to adjust the credits deducted per clickthrough - from 1 credit per clickthrough up to 10 credits per clickthrough. Priority listings start off, by default, with a weighting of 1 (one).

Priority sites are listed in order of Priority = Weight x Monthly Hits 

The top 10 priority sites also get listed on the main index page! 

All priority listings have the title bolded with a golden star alongside, carry a top listed label and retain their priority status until the credits run out. The listing indicates the unused credits and current weighting. A site owner may adjust the weighting to 0 (zero) which temporarily turns off the site's priority status. The remaining credits are preserved until priority status is reactivated by the site owner increasing the weighting to 1 (one) or more.

Priority listing is a real bargain for sites that get few clickthroughs, because they can get prime exposure for 10 US dollars per 1,000 hits. A site that gets 160 hits per month via HumorLinks will be able to enjoy priority status for more than 6 months - all for 10 US dollars. A site in an obscure category that is only getting 40 hits per month via HumorLinks will be able to enjoy priority status for more than 2 years. It's ideal for those who want to attract a set number of extra visitors for a predetermined total price.
